Based on the adoption of the United Nations General Assembly and the initiative of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD), 23 September is recognized as the International Day of Sign Languages (IDSL) followed by the International Week of the Deaf (IWDeaf) and celebrated annually.
In 2019, the WFD President, Dr. Joseph Murray, the WFD Regional Secretariat for Asia (RSA) Management Committee, the WFD RSA Youth Section (YS) Board and our Ordinary Members congratulate you on the IDSL 2019. This year is our second year to celebrate the IDSL and IWDeaf and here is our congratulatory message for you. The video message consists of our Asian sign languages congratulating the IDSL 2019. Happy International Day of Sign Languages and we wish you a happy week!
